It's Nearly Tomorrow

And you know what that means, we are off.

Can't believe we are nearly on our way, still seems a bit surreal to me. Had a very busy day, picked Andrew up after him working all night, he was happy that he got a lot of work done and to a level where he knows it will all be ok. Got the rest of my EOFY work done and all the other bits and pieces I needed to do before we go.

So did I mention that I got really excited and had butterflies in my tummy on the way to pick him up :)

Helen straightened my hair for me tonight, she did a great job.














With a bit of luck tomorrow we just may be upgraded to Business Class, oh well going to relax in the Qantas Club for a while regardless.

2 Days to Go

OMG!!

So down to 2 days to go, got up reasonably early this morning and got organised, and dropped Andrew off to work, he is doing an all nighter again tonight (got to admire the determination to get the work done, I know I certainly do). Caught up with Lachy who is also working today. Plan of attack is for me to pick Andrew up tomorrow after lunch, he will come home and do a few things and then crash, and then its up for our flight the next day.

Me well today I have done that and then went to Helen's and she waxed my eyebrows for me, good chick that one. She is going to straighten my hair for me sometime tomorrow too.

Cleaned out the wallet last night so amazing how much crap one collects in there isn't it. Backed up all the computers and made copies to send over to mums (might have mentioned that one already yesterday though).

Am waiting for mum and dad to come over, mum is going to give me a hand packing, really just want a second opinion on things so have volunteered her for the job.

3 Days to Go

So 3 days to go, can you believe it, I can't keep thinking no your joking still a long time to go. Got stuck into the washing this morning, then took Bella to dancing, went shopping, got the guys some morning tea and some great coffee and dropped it into the workshop, I am the best boss haha!!

This afternoon I have sorted out Bella's activity bag for the plane, selected the DVD's and got that all ready. Umm did I say that I haven't packed yet, just organised a bit more and am now going to do that tomorrow.

Typed up our itinerary last night including the accommodation and tours that I have organised already, to make sure it is all in one spot, mum helped me check so am glad that is done. Have made backups of all the pictures and computer stuff, just in case to take over to mums too.

4 Days to Go

Well here we are another day closer to heading off, how crazily fast these last days are going.

Managed to find my old shorts today, and some were too big but a couple of old pairs were still okay, so have washed them and have them ready to pack. I was looking in the mirror and decided that I am looking like I have chicken legs at the moment. So no posting of short photos will be following.

Took this picture today, tickets and passports all ready and raring to go.

Have had a good day, still finishing off all the financial year end stuff, and entering invoices and purchases, but should be finished soon.

Haven't packed yet, but still have little piles of clothing and bits and pieces ready to go.

Will post some more later after I have been for a haircut with Stacey.

6 Days to Go NO Better Make That Five (5)

Well today I went and picked up our tickets from Kate, how exciting that was, I still have the butterflies in my tummy so am getting more excited every day. Went into the city with Andrew and Lachy (they had to go to get a work licence). Got the tickets, and have been booked to fly to Sydney on Tuesday lunchtime, which will be a big relief and not leave us stressed as to whether we can get out of Perth or not and whether we may be delayed and miss our next flight. Going to stay overnight at the Holiday Inn at the airport, hoping to catch up with a few friends for dinner Tuesday night, may as well make the most of it hey.

Andrew is working late tonight, Lachy is there with him trying to get as much done as possible seeing as though he now has one day less to do it.

7 Days to Go

Well its Wednesday and so that means there is only 1 week to go, OMG!!!

Okay so Qantas is very dodgy at the moment with so many cancelled flights and delays that we are changing our departure date to Tuesday from here, so that we can hopefully arrive in Sydney and have the night, and leave for Honolulu Wednesday afternoon. Will be booking into The Holiday Inn at Sydney Airport, better to be safe than sorry hey!!

Today I had my appointment with Dr D and it went really well and as you will see my results speak for themselves.

6th Weigh In: 92kg

Total Loss so far of a whopping 29kg

I haven't been to the gym in months because at the moment I have 2 bulges between my lower discs in my back which has been causing me a lot of grief, and have been doing a lot of physio to get it better. It is heaps better now and I have just had my last physio session before our trip today.

I am feeling so absolutely fanbloody tastic its ridiculous Life just keeps getting better and better, I have so much energy and just having a wonderful time.

Bought some nice jeans for my trip, and have been trying on some of my old clothes that I thought would be a good fit now, only to find that they are too big , so am going to have to buy some new things while I am away, excellent excuse right .

For the first time ever I feel so positive and that reaching my goal doesn't seem too far away or impossible to achieve. It helps that I have such an excellent support team backing me up and helping me along the way.

Had 1ml taken out of my band, as I did find the last fill just a tight and restrictive and he said that with the way that I am going I won't have any trouble maintaining it while I am away. So he said to me that as long as I maintain my weight while I'm away that any loss would be a bonus, but I will keep being good, I know I will be busy and getting lots of exercise during our trip.

I'm booked in to see him in September so will be interesting indeed.

10 Days to GO!!!!

Well with 10 days to go thought it was time to start going through my wardrobe, interesting!! The clothes that I thought would be just the right size are way to big, so am very happy with how I am going indeed. Will have to check some more out this afternoon, I think it sounds like I am going to have to buy lots of new things while I am away :).

Had lunch around at mum and dads and said cheerio to Sandra and Klaus who are back to Sydney this afternoon, had a wonderful time with them here, and dinner last night was sensational.

Today have followed the advice of Natalie and booked our trip to Alcatraz, have decided on a day tour that also includes Angel Island. I must say that once you start booking tours and day trips it really does start to get exciting.

It's a Saturday kind of fun

Last night we had a wonderful sea food feast at our house with Sandra & Klaus, Richie & Val and mum and dad, a great time was had by all.

Today Mornie came and picked Bella up to take her up there for the weekend with her cousin Zach, the two of them are so gorgeous together and were very excited to be going.

Andrew and I took Klaus and Sandra down to Fremantle for the day, had a great time parked and walked through the park and then we were heading to Cicerello's on the way we noticed the jetboat parked at the front, and a decision was made by all that we should do that so on we got, made sure we put our poncho's on, goodies locked away, their sun glasses on and off we went, wooohooo!!! It was awesome and somewhat wet fun, right at the end we got soaked, the water went down between my boobs haha!! I ended up with a somewhat wet crotch and thigh area, it was hillarious.

We had lunch at Cicerello's afterwards which was great, managed to snag a table in the sun luckily and dried out somewhat, of course we had the mandatory fish and chips which was great.

After this we headed to the old markets and had a wander around.

Tonight we are off to Portofino's for dinner, which means I better get my bum into gear and go and get ready.

Akershus Royal Banquet

Well Andrew is away on a ship somewhere off the coast of Karratha doing an inspection report, and will be home again tomorrow. He left at some ungodly hour this morning all I know is it was very very early.

So tonight am sitting here BORED and think ok, I really would like to try and book another Disney Dining Experience, so got on the phone at 11pm and called, and have now booked in for Breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet in Epcot Centre, WOOOHOOO!!! I had a choice of days so that was pretty good, so on the 23rd July we are now booked in for breakfast. Okay so now I will be too excited to go to sleep. Breakfast will be good so after it is finished we will spend the day in Epcot, excellent way to start the day.

14 Days to Go, That's 2 Weeks :)

Well Oh my goodness am I starting to get excited now, 2 weeks today. Managed to get through and book for our upgrades to Business Class with Qantas Frequent Flyers now to hope that they actually come through and we do get upgraded. I really really hope that happens.

Am pretty organised now trip wise anyway, tomorrow I am going to start going through my wardrobe, some of my skinny clothes will probably fit me again now, I desperately need t-shirts and shorts so here's hoping as there is nothing in the shops here except for woolly stuff that I won't need at all over there. I know I can do lots of shopping while I'm away now but still I need to know I have a couple of options without buying as well.

Did the contact list for our neighbours today, so hopefully they won't need it but if anything happens they will call someone for us.

I want to go and see The Little Mermaid on Broadway, well I wanna take Bella :lol:, though I might be princessed out by then.

My Wonderful KK Present

Thank you to my Wonderful KK for such a great present, I love the passport holder it is so funky. Bella will be most amused with the stickers and card game. I'm sure the chocolate will be yummy too.

15 Days to Go

Had a late start to the morning today, my alarm didn't go off, hmm I think someone little turned it down on me, anyway 7.55 and straight into it we get, managed to get Bella fed, clothed, teeth and hair done, face washed by 8.15 and so the day began.

Bella's mate Ryan was back at school today, which was great as she had missed him while he was sick. She is friends with Danielle today, but not Mackenzie apparently, oh well the daily dramas of a social butterfly.

Today I did a bit of work, paid a few accounts and did a bit of shopping haha more bits and pieces for our trip. Have updated the address book and have put some of our business cards aside too, never know when they might be needed. Booked Ruby in for her mini holiday, glad that she is only there for a few days or would send you broke. Emailed our details to smart traveller, keep seeing it on the news and so decided to do it. Still waiting on ticketing information, geez they are slow.

Got some fun news yesterday that Sandra and Klaus are heading over here on Thursday for the weekend, a surprise for him to celebrate their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Congratulations guys on such a wonderful achievement, can't wait to see you and celebrate with dinner at our place on Friday and at all our favourites Portofino's at Hillarys on Saturday night.

Hmm 16 Days to Go

Had a really nice weekend, Bella went and stayed with mum and dad from Friday until Sunday morning when she came home to us, (sshhh don't tell her but I missed her) had dinner on Saturday night at mum and dads with Rich & Val, cousin Ken was here too so was great to catch up with him and all his news too, dad got the good old Weber going and we had some yummy pork and vegies, nothing beats a Weber. Finished off with one of mum's scrunchies (pavlova) as Bella calls them, which I might proudly add she helped to make on Friday night.

Sunday was party day for little Joe Joe next door who turned two, and what a cute little 2 year old he is, there was a great puppet show and the kids had a ball, kept them amused the whole time he was there which was good cause it was a wet and horrible day.

Andrew had his wisdom tooth out on Friday poor bugger, so not a nice thing for him. He worked pretty much all weekend as there is so much to do and so little time to do it now.

Today I went for a drive and had a look at a couple of dog kennels for Ruby, to cover when mum and dad are in Phuket. My instincts were right and have picked the one that I originally liked.

Still waiting on the final costing for our itinerary, its taken 2 weeks to get back so far, I have the flight schedule but cause of a few changes am waiting to pay for that, crazy.

19 DAYS TO GO!!

How did that happen? Will be in single digits before I know it, getting more organised as the days go by. Waiting on final itinerary to come through from Travel Agent, trying to upgrade with FF points our return flights to business class, hope it works.

On the phone to Optus sorting out our latest mobile bill, why is it whenever I ring up I suddenly am not authorised to access the account, have lost count of how many times this has happened now. Nice girl has rung Andrew and now I once again have access. Tried to ring them earlier and got through to an Indian call centre, where the lady couldn't help me so then, got transferred went through everything again and got hung up on, drives me crazy!!

Saturday Night

25 DAYS TO GO!!!

Suddenly everything seems very real with only 25 days to go I should finish getting myself organised, I have a list with major things on it to do, will keep adding to it I am sure.

Bought some nice new suitcases at Myer on Tuesday, great timing with the stocktake sale just starting managed to pick up 2 red/black JAG suitcases at 50% off from Myer at Karrinyup, wanted 3 so rang Morley and was told they had one, they wouldn't hold it so dad took us over there, and well it wasn't the same suitcase but I bought it anyway, this will be Bella's bag and it is a lovely red shade, my thinking is that most people have black/blue luggage so hopefully that is right and our bags will be more easy to spot on the carousel.

So its official the suitcases are on the spare bed, ready for packing!!!

Today I bought some space bags as my intention is to pack a little of each of ours in all suitcases in case one goes missing or gets lost along the way. Good thinking 99!!

Bella had dancing this morning, and while she was there I did a bit of shopping and had a look around for a few bits and pieces to take with me, I have a slight dilema in that I am now smaller than most of my clothes, I have a few shirts, and pants, shorts to take with me, but will have to do lots of shopping while I am away. Got the underwear situation sorted for now though.

This afternoon, Bella had a play with Abbie from next door and her cousin Beth, they went to the park for a little while and then over to there place and she came home again once mum and dad came over.

Well that's it for now am now on MSN to Thompsie so better get on with chatting.

Sunday Night Bliss

31 DAYS TO GO!!!

Had a late start this morning after a late night at Ditty's with our friends, had a great time and had lots of different curries to eat, yummo I was in heaven.

Today Andrew went to work, Bella and I hit the housework and she was a great little helper. She is a particularly good duster!! Caught up on heaps of washing that didn't get done last week so that was good, suppose tomorrow will have to do the ironing to go with it.

Tonight Andrew is playing his new game HAZE on the PS3 and I am sitting here writing this, Bella is in the lounge room telling him what to do and where to go.

Today I booked us into the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disneyworld, how exciting!! We have 2 nights there to start off our Florida trip, we get picked up at the airport by the Disney Magical Express Bus and transported to our resort, how cool that is.
