Pre-Primary Assembly

Today was the pre-primary school assembly, it was fun watching them host the morning and the little ones that spoke did such a great job. All the kids from Bella's class were so excited to come to school in their Aussie Christmas Clothes, Bella wore her swimmers and a towel around her neck, can't possibly be any more Aussie than that now could you.

I got in early to get a seat at the back so I could take some photos, well I managed to use 2 cameras at the one time, one filming (albeit a bit dodgily the singing) and the other taking photos along the way. YAY for me the multi-tasker!!!

Anyway it was great and I was very proud of Bella and that all her singing practice has definitely helped her out. If you are looking for her in the video and can't see her, she is in the second row behind the fox :)

Mindarie Blessing of the Fleet

Bella and her modelling/dancing school were performing down at the Marina today for the Blessing of the Fleet, was a lot fun for the girls and I am really proud of how well that Bella did, especially considering we missed a whole term of dancing while we were away this year. It was a lovely day, the threat of rain held out until after their show which was good, was a lovely atmosphere down there and were loads of people wandering around. At the end she went to the petting zoo where she held a baby Guinea Pig (no clues as to what she now wants for Christmas there).

Christmas Lights

The ANJO boys dropped in today on their way home from doing some work at Bev and Joe's so as they still had a couple of hours to go decided to make the most of it and got them helping to put up the Christmas lights. As you can see this year the front wall is looking ready for action, the guys did a great job.

There was a bit of time for fun and Brett took the kids over the road and they did a bit of kite flying, as I have said previously, there is always a lot of wind here in Quinns Rocks so it is perfect for kite flying.
We ended up having Andy, Jackie and the boys over for dinner, well Bella and Patrick ended up dressing up as you can see, my little mermaid and her merman, how cute definitely one for the 21st I think.

Christmas Photo Shoot

Today Bella frocked up, we grabbed Ruby and my camera and headed down to the beach for her annual christmas photoshoot (well I did the photos this year and am pretty impressed with my efforts). Was a very windy day but what day isn't here in Quinns, its always good kite flying weather. Anyway managed to take over 200 photos, and some of the better ones will feature on this years Christmas card. So watch out for Bella coming to a letterbox near you :)

No photos today as that would be giving it away.

The Spartans

Today we went and watched Lachy and the rest of the Spartans play footy at City Beach, in the Spring Footy Comp. We had a nice time and Bella had a ball, best thing is that the Spartans won, good one boys.

School Assembly

Today was Bella's school assembly, we received a note last week that advised that Bella was being awarded a Certificate, I wasn't sure what it was for and just assumed that it was for her excellent fundraising abilities with the school lapathon a couple of weeks ago.

Well what a surprise that it was in fact for "Trying her best in all that she undertakes and for always presenting work of a high standard"

To say that we are both very proud of her is an understatement.

The assembly only got better for Bella when she won the prize for raising the most money for the actual lapathon $250, so many thanks to all those that supported her, watch out next year if you didn't!!! Her class also won a prize each for being the class that raised the most money so everyone was very happy indeed.
