The Veronicas

Today Andrew and I took Bella to her first ever rock concert, to see her beloved Veronicas at Challenge Stadium, she had absolutely no idea where she was going just that she had some super duper new Veronica clothes and we were going out.

The tickets we bought meant we got to have an up close and personal meeting with them we thought but was , well it wasn't quite as up and close aspretty cool, our seats were in the 2nd row so our view was superb, got signed pictures and of course took lots of photos.

The concert was great, the 1st supporting band were SHITE though and screamed and swore and thank goodness one of the security guards was handing out ear plugs managed to get a set for Bella who was not enjoying the loudness of them at all.

2nd Band was Metro Station they rocked, and Trace Cyrus (Billy Ray's son was fantastic) Bella managed to get in the mosh pit for this one and danced like crazy.

The Veronicas were brilliant and we stood up down the front for a lot of it, Bella danced the night away and sang along as she knows all the words.

I think this last photo sums up just how big a night Bella had :)

Valentines Day

Bella and I dropped off Ryan's present in the letter box on the way to dancing this morning.

Well after Bella's dancing we came home to a lovely surprise, seems that Ryan left something for Bella in the letter box. As you can see the girl did well, her first piece of jewellery from a boy for Valentines Day. Oh young love!!!!

Bella did comment that Ryan must really have liked the pencil that she gave him :)

Rochelle said that she took Ryan shopping and he picked it out for her himself

Lucinda's 40th

Following Bella's party earlier in the day we then headed out to celebrate Lucinda's 40th Birthday with all the family, had a lovely night and enjoyed a few drinks.

Happy Party Day

Today we had Bella's birthday party, again we went with the Little Mermaid theme, love it!!

I did invite only half the kids from last year and none of the bigger kids either which was great and a lot less stressful, also shortened the party to only 2 hours and it flowed so well. Something to eat and drink and then they were all in the pool Very Happy, out of the pool for the pinata and cutting of the cake, back for a last swim and then home again, brilliant Laughing

Happy 6th Birthday Princess Isabella

Happy 6th Birthday to our beautiful big girl, who would have thought that 6 years has gone so quickly seems like you only just got here.

1st thing Bella did this morning was stand up beside me and see how tall she had become Smile. Bella had a wonderful birthday and celebrated at school with some cupcakes, a few visits from nan and pop and Uncle Ditty and Aunty Val after school. And daddy flew home from Sydney early and got to see her.

Must say that Kellie did a brilliant job on Friday, thank you again my friend, helping me with the chocolate crackles, honey crackles, watching the baking of the cake while I went to the shop to get the things I forgot and also let it be noted that she is a champion pinata stuffer and party bag organiser too Laughing.

Ladies PGA Here We Come

Well that may be daddies dream Laughing but Bella actually started golf lessons today which she absolutely loved and one day she hopes to be able to play with daddy, oh and to drive the golf buggy too Laughing

Daddies dream is to be her caddy

The lessons went really well they are 2 hours once a week, 2 hours is a long time and by the end her concentration wasn't the best, her shoes were off but she still had a ball. Next week daddy will be back and will go around with her and this will be something that they can both enjoy together.

Andrew many years ago was a junior golf instructor with David who is Bella's coach and he is more than happy for Bella to get a bit of extra help.

Here she is my little golfer
