Perth Royal Show

Well today mum, Bella and I headed off after swimming lessons for the Perth Royal Show, decided to catch the train from Currambine and so I dropped them at the platform and fond somewhere to park, which in itself was quite a feat.

Had a few laughs on the train, changed stations in the city and headed on the express train to Claremont Show Grounds. It started raining as soon as we got there so took shelter for a few minutes before joining the queue to get in.

Headed to the main arena for a look at the car tricks and Bella spied the ponies, so off she went for a ride, which she loved, started pouring while she was on it, lucky they had a big undercover area so her ride was not interrupted.

So much for the good weather which was supposed to be happening after lunch, was nowhere to be seen, it was freezing cold, bowing a gale and a bit damp, on and off but that didn't stop us from having a great day, kept the crowds down a bit too which was great for us.

We found the face painting place and Bella was transformed into a beautiful fairy butterfly.

Next we headed to the ride area and Bella had a go on the boats, the clowns and the ducks, then it was the mini roller coaster and the good old faithful Merry Go Round.

We found the nature area, which was really nice and I hadn't seen it at the show before, there were conservation areas, native birds, chooks, plants etc. just a really well put together display.

We had a bit more of a look around, and headed for showbag ally picked up a few bags as you do and headed off on the train homeward bound again, wanted to beat rushhour and the weather was getting dodgier so we decided we had had enough for the day.
