We walked from the carpark through the Duckery, where we indeed saw loads of ducks, geese, swans and more.
Enjoyed a nice stroll through the Castle, which was beautiful.
Enjoyed a nice cuppa before stopping and having a look through the magnificent bird avaiary so many different birds in here, spotted a cockatoo or three.Next we headed to the maze which was loads of fun, it was very tricky but we all made our way out in the end.
We watched the Falconry show and it was great, little Miss PickMe put up her hand to be the Rabbit and well she got to run, dragging a small stuffed rabbit behind her for the Falcon to catch, was really funny and she was very brave and had a ball. They gave her an icecream for helping out.
We got caught in the rain at the end of the day, but managed to get some shelter under a big tree before the bus came to pick us up to take us to the gate.
We went for dinner at Rocky and Grace's tonight, was lovely to see Grace and the boys Scott and Lloyd again, we missed out on seeing Rocky as he was sleeping as he was working at night. We did meet Scott's girlfriend Kate, who was positively lovely. Funny thing is when we arrived, the SatNav had us entering the estate in the wrong way, so after driving around we stopped a girl walking a small spaniel (who happened to be Kate) and asked for directions, anyway when we arrived at the house, we saw the dog bed etc but no dog and Grace mentioned that Kate was out walking the dog, it did make us laugh to realise we had spoken to Kate on the road.
Any
way the night was great, always fun to catch up with old friends again. Bella did get some "Takeaway" jewellery from Grace what a lucky girl she is:)
