Singapore and in Transit

We had a great trip from London to Singapore, when we arrived in Singapore at 6.00pm we were meant to be staying at the Transit hotel in the Transit terminal, well seems the lady in London checking us in didn't give us a boarding pass for the 2nd part of our trip home Singapore to Perth, so we had to exit through customs, pick up our luggage and then go and see the Qantas desk to see about checking in for the flight on Saturday morning, and they mentioned that we would have to wait until 9.30pm to check in for the following days flight, otherwise our luggage would probably go on todays flight without us.

Andrew and I looked at each other and asked if it was possible to fit us on tonights flight home instead, rather than having to find somewhere else to stay or waiting 3 1/2 hours waiting to check in again. Seems we were in luck there, and we were able to get on todays flight home, even managed to score 4 seats together, and if we wanted it the row behind us (we were happy with the 4 though) no upgrades this time but just happy to be on the flight home.

Rang mum and dad to let them know of our change of plans, they were still coming to get us though which was great.

Got settled in the Qantas Lounge and relaxed for a while and then headed down to check out the Duty Free, was really surprised at just how expensive things were here in Singapore, the camera I bought in Sydney was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than it was here, also alcohol was cheaper on the flight, and a few other things we looked at that we bought in America and were more than happy that we had done.
