Akershus Royal Banquet

Today we were up nice and early and ready for Bella’s surprise trip to EPCOT centre for breakfast with Ariel and the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. We got to the entrance gates at 7.45 had to wait in the car until 8am when it opened, we were the first ones in line. Got a carpark nice and close and got our names checked off at the entrance and walked around to Norway and the Banquet Hall, was funny walking through while the park was empty.

Bella had no idea what we were doing this morning, and I think the look on her face when we walked in, first in line and saw Princess Belle, was priceless, stopped and had her photo taken and got an autograph and then we were invited to our table to sit. We were right near the door that the Princesses came out of so were pretty much the first to see them.

Next came Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) oh she was gorgeous and Bella was so excited to see her too. We saw Princess Jasmine next, she was lovely and very friendly indeed, next was Princess Mulan again gorgeous.

Then the big moment arrived and Princess Ariel arrived, Bella’s face just beamed the smile was from ear to ear, Ariel is definitely her all time favourite, Bella told her that she swam all the way from Australia to see her. She spent a long time talking to Bella and then Bella gave her one of our small Koala’s it was so sweet and Ariel gave her a big kiss on her forehead. I think the smile and look on Bella’s face will forever stay with me, I am sitting here smiling just thinking about it.

When breakfast was over we headed outside and who should we come across but none other than Mary Poppins, she was lovely too.

We headed off to Fast Trac for a ride, but the line was too long so we got a Fast Pass to come back in an hours time, great decision as we were able to get on another ride straight away and then go back, thereby missing an hours queue.

After this we headed off to Find Nemo’s ride which was great, after this we walked around for a bit, the queue for soaring was too long so we skipped that one and headed to Honey I Shrunk the Audience which was a 3D show which was loads of fun.

Then we went for a walk around World Showcase, we stopped by Canada, England, Italy, Mexico, Africa, Japan and a few others then decided we had had enough as it was just after lunchtime so back to the car, and off to the Mall of Florida for a quick look, bit of shopping later and back to the Resort for a rest again.
