Today we were again up nice and early packed and organized and left the resort at 7am heading south for Miami. We had a great drive down, and stopped at McDonalds Cocoa Beach for breakfast, which was good, but I must make mention that we had 2 of the worlds worst coffee’s which we didn’t get to try until we were driving along, as it was too hot to drink while we were there. Funny thing about being at McDonalds was that a US Prison transfer officer was in there and bought 11 2 for $2 McMuffin meals for the prisoners that were in the back of the van he got out of.
We drove through Fort Lauderdale, and Hollywood, Baton Roca and a few other places as we came down highway A1A which was the scenic route there is a lot of money here, the houses, cars and boats we saw were just amazing. We arrived in Miami Dade just after lunch time, had some lunch and waited for our room to be ready which it was after then.
Tonight we headed to Bubba Gumps at Bayside which was great, Bayside was a bit like Darling Harbour I suppose, very touristy but lots of great places for dinner. Bubba Gumps was fun, and our shrimp was beautiful, they made nice Margaritas too :)
Off to bed for us now.
