Sea World San Diego

Today we headed off to Sea World, the start to the day was not without a little bit of drama, we booked Sea World and Universal Studio tours last night and somehow seemed to mix the pick up times up. So instead of being out the front to be picked up at 8.15am we were at breakfast at this time, taking it easy and enjoying a nice breakky. Get to the bus stop and I had to go back to room to get something only to be greeted on my way back by Andrew and Bella running back to me, oh dear Andrew had looked at the booking slip and noticed the wrong time, so got back to room ring bus company in a panic, and am told if we can make it to the bus depot by 9.15 we will be ok, major panic as its 9am and no idea how far away it is. Organise a cab and wait ever so patiently but somehow manage to get there in time and board our bus bound for San Diego.

Had a good trip down, stopped at Legoland to drop other people off and then we were on our way again.

Arrived at Sea World and managed to pick up our tickets and organize our lunch time with Shamu which was for 4pm, Table 1 was our given table.

Walked around Sea World and saw the Clydesdale horses, had a bite to eat and then went to the arctic animals,manatees and then sat back and enjoyed the dolphin show which was great. We were in the back of the splash zone but didn’t get wet, then we quickly headed to the Shamu’s stadium for the main show. Really enjoyed this was absolutely amazing.

After the show we walked around to the Dine with Shamu area where we had our reservations for lunch, got in and our table was right at the front, was so unreal to be up so close and personal with Shamu, lunch was fabulous, well it was more like dinner J. Took loads of photos and enjoyed our time there very much.
