5th July Makani Kai Helicopter Trip

Today we on the 1 hour round island Makani Kai Helicopter Trip. We flew over the uninhabited valleys of the Koolau Mountains to Sacred Falls, saw the the world famous surfing spots on the North Shore, Waimea Falls park, we flew over the Polynesian Cultural Centre and the Dole Sugar Plantation. We also saw the valley that was used for Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates. We saw the gangplank that is used for filming some of the scenes in Lost and was also used in Fantasy Island. Flew over Pearl Harbour which was interesting too. Saw the little island where Gilligans Island was filmed, you know they could have swum to shore from there :)

Was great fun and went really quickly, was a very smooth flight too which is a bonus. Bella fell asleep a couple of times, this will be her 3rd helicopter flight and 3rd time she has gone to sleep :)
