ALOHA Baby

We had a bit of fun at Sydney airport duty free shopping and Bella now has a gorgeous new Pentax PINK 8mp camera, the cheapest one we could find that just happened to be pink :). We bought a nice small Olympus waterproof 10mp camera which also does videos.

Made the most of the Qantas Club and checked in and sat back after shopping had a couple of drinks and some munchies. Bella had a lovely time in there and was on her best behaviour.

Our flight took off on time and it was great, the crew were lots of fun and we were down the back this time, not quite the same as business class but still ok.

Had a great flight from Sydney and well here we are at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Waikiki in Honolulu. Checked in and have a room on the 30th Floor, we have an excellent view and there will be a big fire works display on Friday for the 4th July and we will be able to watch it from our balcony, we are on the quieter side of the building which is great, and we look back towards the harbour.

We saw the Macaws that are in the foyer, and also the pink flamingoes in the pond Bella was most impressed.

We were all pretty tired and had a big sleep this afternoon, about 3 hours and then got up and did a quick shop as you do, stocked the fridge and then went down and went for a swim in the main pool, was lovely and refreshing. Went for a walk down towards the road and ran into Ian and Neil the Qantas Stewards from our flight and they invited us to go for a drink with them so we went to the Hale Koa hotel which is next door, and has a great bar by the beach and had excellent entertainment on. Stayed for a few hours drinking Pina Colada's and Margharitas as you do and then we all headed off for dinner at Tony Roma's for some ribs which was fantastic. So about time I head off to bed for the night as tomorrow we are off to the Polynesian Cultural Centre.
