Today Sue drove us into the city, we parked near Town Hall and had a look at the buildings both old and new and then we went on to do some shopping in the Eaton Centre, we then headed to the Bay and used the PATH system to get through the city.
The PATH system is a system of underground tunnels that connect the city through all the buildings, this was amazing loads of excellent shops, dining places and just blew us away, can see how it would be great in winter with all the snow.
We had a quick look at the National Hockey Leagues Hall of Fame, and shop and then walked down the streets to the St Lawrence Market (which is supposed to be 1 of the top 20 markets in the world) the food was amazing, fish, cheese, meat and fruit and vegies, oh the berries are devine here, so we bought loads of raspberries for after dinner tonight.
Then we headed up to the CN Tower, the line was pretty long so it took ages to get in the lift to go up, but once we were in the lift it only took 58 seconds to reach the top. Was a fantastic view of Toronto from up the top, great day for it. We went on the glass walkway, okay so my body wanted to go on but my legs didn't, Bella kept saying come on mummy I will hold your hand, how sweet. I did eventually get on there as you can see, and we had a group photo with our feet and the ground below.
So another great day for us here in Toronto.
