Off to London, The London Eye

This morning we headed off to London with Reg and Joan, we left home midmorning and headed to Sittingbourne to catch the train to Victoria Station, had a great trip in the train, Bella thought it was pretty cool that you could buy food from the man with the trolley. Once we got to Victoria Station we caught the bus to Waterloo where we walked to the Union Jack Club where we were staying.

Stopped in the room for a bit and then we all headed out to South Bank where we enjoyed loads of entertainment as we were walking by, Bella climbed on the big grass furniture which was cool, saw the marching band and stopped and had a listen, saw loads of mime acts and a couple were scary as we went past. Bella and I were lucky enough to have a go on the Merry Go Round which was great fun.

Headed to the London Eye next and we fastracked to get on as it was a nice sunny day, we thought just in case we had better get on today. The view was fantastic, pretty much saw all the sights of London, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, MI5, Wembley Stadium in the distance, Buckingham Palace, Nelsons Column to name a few. It was fantastic up there , was loads of time to really take in the view, it takes about 1/2 hour to go around.

On the way back through Southbank we again encountered loads of entertainers, and came across a man doing a fire juggling trick, well Bella whispered to me can I yell out something mummy, of course I said yes, well madam proceeded to yell out to said fire juggling man "YOUR BORING" ok so this is the bit where Andrew disappeared, Reg and Joan sidestepped and I was left with head looking at the ground to collect madam. If only the ground could have swallowed me up at this point, we did make a hasty exit.

Afterwards we headed back to the club and checked to see if we could stay another night as 1 was decided was not quite enough, luckily enough there were rooms available so we made plans for tomorrow. We had a rest and then got ready for dinner, enjoyed a nice meal at the club and headed to bed for an early night
