Newcastle

This morning we headed off to the craft shop to get Bella some things to do, she chose a cat mask and a swan to paint and some things to stick on them.

Next we headed through Quayside and saw the many bridges of Newcastle. Then we stopped at the fish Quay, and checked out the fish shops, George bought some of course :)

We stopped and had an icecream at Tynemouth and saw Tynemouth Priory, enjoyed the view of the Lighthouses and the ocean.

Next we headed down the coast and stopped at a beach and went to the Grotto cafe down on the beach at Marsden, was a lovely spot, unfortunately the café was not serving lunch, but we did stop and have a drink and a walk on the beach, Andrew even managed to find another Fosters.

We headed further down the coast and stopped at Sunderland where we stopped at a hotel by the beach and had some lunch, I had a fantastic green curry chicken that I really enjoyed, was lovely watching the water and the people down by the pier.

We drove through Sunderland and saw The Stadium of the Light!! or shite depending on where you come from

On the way home we stopped in Washington and had a look at the house where George Washington was born.

Bella exhausted after another busy day.
