Eastbourne, Drusilla's & Brighton

Up nice and early this morning as Thompsie had some business calls to make down in Eastbourne so we headed off with her, stopped and grabbed a bite to eat on the way at a roadside caravan and we ordered a couple of bacon sandwiches and coffees, was quite nice indeed. Next we stopped at one of her customers Keith and Kate’s house and had a nice coffee and Bella had a quick jump on the trampoline and then went to see the pony in the paddock, took some carrots and fed her.

Next Thompsie dropped us off at Drusilla’s Zoo which was really great, saw lots of different animals there, some I had not seen before, even walked through Lemurland. It’s school holidays here so it was very busy but we got to see everything we wanted to. There was a big kids adventure playground and we stopped there for a little while, Bella had fun on the giant bouncy slide and at 2 pounds for 6 goes it was worth it, think it must of helped to tire her out later in the afternoon. We stopped for a bite to eat and then it was onto the face painting where Bella was transformed into a beautiful butterfly. So all in all loads of fun and a lovely way to spend a few hours.

Met up with Thompsie at the entrance and it was back in the car and we headed down to Brighton which was great, had a bit of a look around, went to the shops and Andrew ended up with a new tracksuit which he has needed as the weather is a tad on the cool side. There were pirates and kids activities on and Bella got to paint a flag which she loved, we watched the entertainment for a little while, did a bit more shopping at Asda and then we went through the town and had a bit more of a look around.

Bella managed a big sleep in the car on the way back, one of the freaky ones with her eyes wide open, but these pics are much cuter.
